My work explores the relationships between the obscure and intangible; what we cannot see or touch, but still engage with on an emotional level. Objects that are not associated together, are united in ways that are initially familiar but slowly transform the longer one engages with the work. By bringing together multiple facets of associations between various items, we can apply new meaning to them outside of their traditional contexts. As we invest more time in engaging the work, we begin to evaluate and reconstruct the ideals previously connected with its content. Periodically my work's meaning is more direct and explicit, but still originates from a twisted idea.
